இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளையும் நாடு முழுவதற்கும் ஆட்சி மொழியாக்குவது என்பது இயலாத காரியம்தான். ஆனால், இவ்வளவு மொழிகள் இருக்க, ஹிந்தி ஆட்சி மொழியானது எப்படி என்று தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஆவல். (நான் அறிந்த வரையில், ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதமும், ஹிந்தியும் ஆட்சி மொழிக்குப் போட்டி போட, முன்னாள் குடியரசுத்தலைவர் ராஜேந்திரப் பிரசாத்தின் ஒரு ஓட்டு வித்தியாசத்தில்தான் ஹிந்தி ஆட்சி மொழியானதாக அறிகின்றேன்.) மேலும் விபரமறிந்தவர்கள் ஹிந்தி தேசிய மொழியான வரலாறு சொல்லவும்.
ஒரு வேளை எந்த மொழியில் அதிக சினிமா வெளிவருதுண்ணு பாத்திருப்பாங்களோ? ஹி..ஹி.

இந்தியாவில் national language என்று ஒரு மண்ணாங்கட்டியும் கிடையாது. எல்லாம் officila language தான். அதுவும் மாநில அரசாங்கம் நினைத்தால் நரிக்குறவர் மொழியைக்கூட அவர்கள் மாநிலத்திற்கு officila language ஆக வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ஹிந்தி நேசனல் லாங்குவேஜ் என்பது உண்மையல்ல.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
CHAPTER I.—LANGUAGE OF THE UNION
343. Of f icial language of the Union.—(1) The official language of the
Union shal l be Hindi in Devanagar i scr ipt .
The form of numerals to be used for the official purposes of the Union
shal l be the internat ional form of Indian numerals .
(2) Notwi ths tanding anything in clause (1) , for a per iod of fi fteen years
from the commencement of thi s Cons t i tut ion, the Engl i sh language shal l
cont inue to be used for al l the official purposes of the Union for which i t
was being used immediately before such commencement :
Provided that the Pres ident may, dur ing the said per iod, by order
author i se the use of the Hindi language in addi t ion to the Engl i sh language
and of the Devanagar i form of numerals in addi t ion to the internat ional
form of Indian numerals for any of the official purposes of the Union.
(3) Notwi ths tanding anything in thi s ar t icle, Par l iament may by law
provide for the use, after the said per iod of fi fteen years , of—
(a) the Engl i sh language, or
(b) the Devanagar i form of numerals ,
for such purposes as may be speci fied in the law.
CHAPTER II.—REGIONAL LANGUAGES
345. Of f icial language or languages of a State.—Subject to the
provi s ions of ar t icles 346 and 347, the Legi s lature of a State may by law
adopt any one or more of the languages in use in the State or Hindi as the
language or languages to be used for al l or any of the official purposes of
that State:
Provided that , unt i l the Legi s lature of the State otherwi se provides by
law, the Engl i sh language shal l cont inue to be used for those official
purposes wi thin the State for which i t was being used immediately before
the commencement of thi s Cons t i tut ion.
346. Of f icial language for communicat ion between one State and
another or between a State and the Union.—The language for the t ime
being author i sed for use in the Union for official purposes shal l be the
official language for communicat ion between one State and another State
and between a State and the Union:
Provided that i f two or more States agree that the Hindi language should
be the official language for communicat ion between such States , that
language may be used for such communicat ion.
CHAPTER III.—LANGUAGE OF THE SUPREME COURT,
HIGH COURTS, ETC.
348. Language to be used in the Supreme Court and in the High
Courts and for Acts , Bi l l s , etc.—(1) Notwi ths tanding anything in the
foregoing provi s ions of thi s Par t , unt i l Par l iament by law otherwi se
provides—
(a) al l proceedings in the Supreme Cour t and in every High Cour t ,
(b) the author i tat ive text s—
( i ) of al l Bi l ls to be int roduced or amendment s thereto to be
moved in ei ther House of Par l iament or in the House or ei ther
House of the Legi s lature of a State,
( i i ) of al l Act s pas sed by Par l iament or the Legi s lature of a
State and of al l Ordinances promulgated by the Pres ident or the
Governor of a State, and
( i i i ) of al l orders , rules , regulat ions and bye-laws i s sued under
thi s Cons t i tut ion or under any law made by Par l iament or the
Legi s lature of a State,
shal l be in the Engl i sh language.
